Pinterest launches Beauty Guides, which turn saved beauty Pins into practical plans for salon visits, according to TechCrunch. The feature uses Pinterest Intelligence, the company's visual intelligence and generative AI technology.

Users can tap “Get the Guide” in the Pinterest app to see the terminology needed to request a look, such as balayage, root melt, or almond nails. Each guide can also provide an estimated time, price range, and maintenance requirements.

Beauty Guides initially support Pins covering hairstyles, hair color, nail shapes, and nail finishes.
