Pittco Invests in UK AI Data Center Firm Nscale
Pittco Management has made an equity investment in Nscale Global Holdings, a UK company that develops and operates data centers focused on training and inference compute for artificial intelligence applications, announced in a press release.
The investment was made in partnership with Epping Forest Capital GP. Nscale builds and operates infrastructure that spans energy systems, data centers, GPU compute, and supporting software to provide efficient and reliable compute capacity for enterprises, governments, and AI-focused organizations.
Pittco President and Chief Investment Officer Henry Guy said the company views Nscale as well positioned to expand its operations in a market constrained by limited compute availability. Pittco, based in Memphis, Tennessee, serves as the single-family office for AutoZone founder Joseph R. Hyde III and his wife, Barbara, offering investment and financial management services.
