Plataine Introduces AI Agents for Factory Decision Automation
Plataine has introduced a new suite of conversational AI Agents within its Total Production Optimization platform, announced in a press release. The system enables manufacturers to move from passive data tracking to automated decision-making across production, scheduling, and materials management.
The AI Agents continuously monitor production variables, detect issues such as machine downtime or supply delays, and generate recovery plans for approval. Managers can interact with the platform through natural language queries to run simulations and test scenarios before implementing changes on the factory floor.
Plataine’s solution includes specialized Planning, Scheduling, Material, and Asset Agents that coordinate operations across the enterprise. Built on the company’s Digital Twin architecture and Practimum Optimum optimization engine, the system supports complex industrial environments including aerospace, automotive, and electronics manufacturing.
According to Plataine, early deployments have shown measurable results, including a 10 percent increase in factory efficiency and up to 30 percent improvement in on-time delivery. The AI Agents are available now for new and existing customers.
