Pluto Security raises $42 million for AI security platform
Pluto Security has raised $42 million and emerged from stealth, according to TechCrunch. The funding includes an $8.5 million seed round led by TLV Partners and a $34 million Series A led by Jump Capital.
The company began selling its software in April and has passed $2 million in annual recurring revenue. It has more than 30 enterprise customers, including Oscar Health, Workato, Sixt and AlphaSense.
Pluto monitors AI tools, agents, skills, extensions and MCP servers used within companies. Its software gathers information such as prompts, commands, processes and permissions, then identifies risky components and can stop agent actions or request user confirmation.
The company plans to use the funding for product work, security research and expansion in the United States. Pluto has 40 employees across the United States and Israel.
