Pocket Entertainment Surpasses $500 Million Annualized Revenue Run Rate

Pocket Entertainment says its annualized revenue run rate surpassed $500 million after growing 70% from the previous year, driven mainly by Pocket FM and its use of AI.

Pocket Entertainment surpassed $500 million in annualized revenue run rate, representing 70% growth from the previous year, the company said in a press release. Pocket FM, its AI audio drama platform, was the primary source of growth, supported by AI tools for content creation, production, personalization and distribution.

The company said AI reduced the time needed to introduce stories in new markets from about 12 months to two months. Pocket FM expanded into the UK, Germany and France, while its revenue retention rose from 44% to 76%.

Pocket FM now has more than 250 million listeners across over 20 countries. Its catalog includes more than 770,000 titles, while over 550,000 creators produce 2.6 million annualized hours of content. Ninety six titles have generated more than $1 million in revenue, including 13 that exceeded $10 million.
