PointClickCare Introduces AI-Driven ED Optimization
PointClickCare has launched an AI-driven solution aimed at optimizing emergency department (ED) operations by delivering instant, actionable patient intelligence. Announced in a press release, this new capability leverages the largest post-acute dataset in North America to provide emergency care teams with critical patient information from skilled nursing facility (SNF) stays.
The enhanced ED Optimization solution is designed to bridge gaps in care transitions by offering real-time insights into a patient's recent SNF care, including diagnoses, medications, and reasons for transfer. This allows frontline providers to make faster, more informed decisions, reducing unnecessary admissions and improving patient care.
PointClickCare's AI-informed Reason for Transfer AI Model is central to this innovation, providing emergency departments with the necessary data to streamline decision-making processes. The solution is part of PointClickCare's broader mission to enhance healthcare delivery through AI-driven insights, setting a new standard in healthcare intelligence.
