Precisio Biotix Secures Grant for AI-Driven Antimicrobial Discovery
Precisio Biotix Therapeutics has announced a grant from the Gates Foundation to support the discovery of novel engineered lysin antimicrobials targeting bacterial vaginosis (BV) pathogens. In a press release, Precisio detailed that the funding will be used to leverage their proprietary AI/ML-guided Zeus™-LysiThru™ platform technologies.
The company aims to develop lysins with superior activity and specificity against BV-associated bacteria. These lysins are a promising class of enzymes that act as antimicrobials without causing bacterial resistance, unlike traditional antibiotics. The project is expected to yield optimized lysins by the end of 2025, paving the way for clinical development.
Precisio's approach focuses on creating stable formulations of lysins that are cost-effective, making them accessible to both developed and low- and middle-income countries where BV is prevalent. The initiative underscores the potential of AI-driven platforms in advancing precision medicine and addressing unmet medical needs in antimicrobial resistance.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
