Public Introduces Private Company Pages with Data on OpenAI, Stripe, and Others

Public has launched private company pages that let retail investors access data on over 60 private firms, including OpenAI, Stripe, and Anthropic, before they go public.

Public announced in a press release the launch of private company pages that allow retail investors to access institutional-grade data on more than 60 private firms, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Stripe. The feature provides valuation history, funding rounds, and price trends for each company before they go public.

Investors can track valuation changes and view context around major milestones. A Market Exposure section shows how to gain indirect exposure to these companies, and users can sign up for updates on news and potential IPOs.

Pricing and other financial data on the new pages are provided by Nasdaq Private Market. Public clarified that shares of private companies are not available for trading on its platform or public exchanges, and displayed values are based on historical activity rather than real-time market prices.
