Quantum X signed a binding letter of intent to acquire 80% of financial market data provider TraderMade Systems for $550,000 in shares.

Quantum X signed a binding letter of intent to acquire 80% of TraderMade Systems, the company said in a press release. The United Kingdom company supplies current and historical foreign exchange data, APIs and other market data to financial institutions, financial technology companies and quantitative research teams.

Quantum X will pay $550,000 through 550 million common shares priced at $0.001 each. The shares will be locked for six months after closing. Quantum X will also acquire rights to a receivable of about £412,162, or approximately $544,000, plus accrued interest, that TraderMade owes to Currency Mountain Holdings.

The parties expect up to 90 days for due diligence. Closing requires an independent valuation of at least $550,000 for the acquired shares and receivable, along with board approval, required consents and the retention of specified TraderMade personnel. Quantum X plans to use TraderMade's historical financial data for AI and quantitative computing models.
