QuickLogic Secures $1M eFPGA Contract for Data Center ASIC
QuickLogic Corporation has announced a $1 million contract for its embedded FPGA (eFPGA) Hard IP, aimed at a high-performance Data Center ASIC design. The contract, which will utilize an industry-proven 12 nm process technology, is scheduled for IP delivery in the fourth quarter of 2025, announced in a press release.
This marks QuickLogic's first eFPGA Hard IP contract for the commercial data center market, highlighting the growing importance of eFPGA IP for system companies. The company leverages its proprietary Australis IP Generator to deliver customer-specific eFPGA Hard IP across multiple fabrication nodes, offering in-system reprogrammability unique to FPGA technology.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
