Quotient Sciences and Acesion Apply AI to Atrial Fibrillation Drugs
Quotient Sciences and Acesion Pharma announce a collaboration that will apply machine learning to formulation work for Acesion's atrial fibrillation drug pipeline, according to a press release.
Quotient Sciences will use its AI enhanced formulation service within the Translational Pharmaceutics platform. The service combines active machine learning with Bayesian optimization to analyze data, predict formulation performance and prioritize drug products for clinical testing.
The work will support oral formulation development for Acesion's early stage small molecule compounds. Acesion is developing SK ion channel inhibitors as potential treatments for atrial fibrillation.
