Qupital Launches AI Lending Protocol for Online Merchants

Oct 6, 2026
Qupital launched an onchain lending protocol that uses AI, USDC and Ethereum smart contracts to automate financing for online merchants.

Qupital announced in a press release the launch of an onchain lending protocol for online merchants. The system deploys USDC through Ethereum smart contracts, giving merchants access to financing around the clock.

Qupital's AI system continuously monitors sales and loan performance to adjust credit exposure. When store metrics move outside set parameters, smart contracts can call payment gateway APIs to capture store earnings for debt payments.

The protocol also replaces manual loan drawdown checks and settlement calls with smart contracts. Qupital said each active loan is tokenized to its Treasury Vault for balance verification, and that it has a $100 million financing pipeline intended for onchain fulfillment.
