RadiusDC to Acquire phoenixNAP’s Phoenix Data Center and Colocation Business
RadiusDC has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Phoenix data center and colocation business of phoenixNAP, located in Phoenix, Arizona, announced in a press release. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
The acquisition includes phoenixNAP’s existing colocation facility, interconnection infrastructure, and development rights for future campus expansion. The site will become RadiusDC’s Phoenix I campus, combining an operational data center with a planned build-out supported by committed utility capacity.
At closing, RadiusDC plans to expand the existing DC1 facility to 8 megawatts of IT power capacity and begin development of a second facility, DC2, which will add up to 18 megawatts. Initial phases of DC2 are projected to come online in the first half of 2028, bringing the total potential campus capacity to approximately 26 megawatts.
Around 80% of phoenixNAP’s global business, including its Bare Metal Cloud and network services, will remain independently owned and operated. phoenixNAP will continue as a tenant at the Phoenix site, ensuring continuity of service for existing customers.
