Rain-X Introduces AI Wiper Installation App

Rain-X introduced a web app that uses AI and computer vision to identify wiper arms and provide vehicle specific installation instructions.

Rain-X introduced an AI powered web app for wiper blade installation, announced in a press release. Drivers scan a QR code on product packaging and point a smartphone camera at the wiper arm.

The app uses computer vision to identify the wiper arm and provide instructions for the vehicle, including help selecting the correct adapter. Developed with Saritasa, it supports 220 million vehicle applications and covers 93% of vehicles on the road.

The app began rolling out with select Rain-X products in late August 2026. Rain-X plans to expand it across all its wiper blade programs in fall 2026 and add removal instructions by the end of the year.
