REALLY Introduces AI Voice Clone for Phone Calls and Tasks

April 15, 2026
Wireless carrier REALLY has announced an AI feature called Clone that can make and answer calls on behalf of subscribers using their real phone numbers. The technology operates at the carrier level, offering autonomous call handling and task automation with built-in privacy protections.

Wireless carrier REALLY has announced a new AI feature called Clone, described as the first carrier-native AI agent capable of making and answering calls on behalf of subscribers, according to a press release. The service operates directly at the carrier layer rather than as a third-party app, enabling it to use the subscriber’s real phone number for inbound and outbound calls.

Clone is trained on each user’s voice, preferences, and communication style, allowing it to schedule appointments, navigate automated systems, and even handle subscription cancellations autonomously. It can also answer calls using the subscriber’s cloned voice and screen unwanted calls.

REALLY stated that user data is protected by an end-to-end privacy architecture. Subscriber-specific data is stored locally on the device, while any off-device processing occurs in encrypted, GPU-based secure environments. The company emphasized that Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) is never shared or sold and is used only to serve individual subscribers.

The Clone feature will enter beta testing in the coming weeks, with current REALLY subscribers receiving early access at no extra cost. New subscribers who join before the beta launch will also gain early access.
