Reolink launches Home Hub 2 with local AI video search

The Home Hub 2 searches locally stored security footage using keywords and manages up to eight Reolink cameras. It costs $199.99 in the US.

In a press release, Reolink launches the Home Hub 2, a security camera hub with local AI video search and subscription free storage. The device is available in the US for $199.99.

The hub uses the ReoNeura AI engine to search locally stored recordings across connected cameras using keywords. It can also track a detected object across multiple cameras and combine the footage into one video.

Home Hub 2 supports up to eight compatible Reolink cameras at resolutions up to 16MP. It includes a SATA slot for a 2.5 inch hard drive or solid state drive and a microSD slot supporting up to 1TB. Compatible cameras can continue recording to the hub when the home internet connection is unavailable.

A planned firmware update will add custom AI detection and allow users to train the system to recognize specific conditions. Another update expected in December 2026 will add image alerts through Discord, Telegram and Slack.
