Response Media Launches RE:HEALTH for Medication Adherence
Response Media launches RE:HEALTH, a health and life sciences practice focused on medication adherence, the company said in a press release. The practice combines behavioral science, privacy compliant AI and analytics to identify emotional and practical barriers that affect treatment decisions.
Its AdherenceIQ platform uses published adherence research to predict which patients may start or discontinue therapy. It also identifies possible reasons for disengagement, including concerns about side effects, perceived necessity, distrust and stigma, then recommends intervention strategies before patients stop treatment.
RE:HEALTH will develop engagement strategies for pharmaceutical and health brands, with a focus on adherence, treatment persistence and prescription growth. Response Media said medication nonadherence costs the United States healthcare system as much as $300 billion each year.
