RoboForce Raises $52 Million to Expand Physical AI Robo-Labor
RoboForce has raised $52 million to advance its Physical AI-powered Robo-Labor platform and accelerate commercial rollout, announced in a press release. The oversubscribed round brings the company’s total funding to $67 million and was led by YZi Labs, with participation from Jerry Yang, Myron Scholes, Gary Rieschel, and Carnegie Mellon University.
The funding will support development of RoboForce’s robot foundation model, scale manufacturing, and transition pilot programs to production deployments. The company’s technology focuses on automating physically demanding and safety-critical work across sectors such as solar energy, data centers, mining, shipping, manufacturing, and logistics.
RoboForce is collaborating with NVIDIA to build its Physical AI platform, using NVIDIA Jetson Thor for edge computing and simulation tools like Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab. This integration enables a closed-loop data system designed to improve robot learning and performance in complex industrial environments.
Founded in 2023, RoboForce is based in Milpitas, California, and is developing general-purpose robotic systems aimed at handling high-risk industrial tasks while improving operational efficiency.
