RoboSense Unveils EOCENE SPAD SoC Architecture and Two Image Grade Chipsets
RoboSense introduced its EOCENE SPAD SoC architecture and two new chipsets, Phoenix and Peacock, at its 2026 Tech Day in Shenzhen, announced in a press release.
The Phoenix chipset is described as the industry's first automotive grade monolithic SPAD SoC, capable of producing a 2,160 beam image grade output for high definition 3D perception. The Peacock chipset is a fully solid state SPAD SoC with an ultra large array, designed to enhance 3D perception in robotics.
The EOCENE architecture supports faster development of chipsets and aims to reduce research and development costs while enabling flexible product design. RoboSense also previewed its upcoming RGBD sensor, which is scheduled for official release by the end of 2027.
