Robot.com Introduces R-noid Humanoid Worker at Automate 2026
Robot.com announced in a press release the launch of R-noid, a humanoid robot created for repetitive, multi-shift, and hard-to-staff roles. The company offers the system under a Robot-as-a-Service model that can move from initial site visit to autonomous operation within eight to twelve weeks. R-noid will be demonstrated at Automate 2026 in Chicago from June 22 to 25.
The robot is available in five solution categories: Restaurant Assistant, Packer, Picker, Folder, and Host. It can perform nineteen tasks across six industries, including logistics, food services, healthcare, and lodging. Deployment examples include a Packer unit working at a golf course and another in production at a food manufacturing facility.
R-noid runs on NVIDIA Jetson modules and uses FieldAI's Field Foundation Models as its autonomy layer. The system combines a dual-arm design with a mobile base and a four-degree-of-freedom torso for reach and flexibility. The robot's expression and behavior system, called R-soul, was developed in collaboration with Yukai Engineering to improve human interaction.
Formic serves as Robot.com's deployment partner for humanoid solutions, while Physical Intelligence provides the vision-language-action model π0.7, which enables adaptive manipulation tasks. The company will also feature R-noid at Cannes Lions as part of its role as Robotics Innovation Partner for PMG's AI & Tech Sandbox.
