The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from new investors including MassMutual Ventures, Nuveen Real Estate, Multiplier Capital, and Munich Re Ventures, alongside returning backers such as Soma Capital and Fifth Wall.
The fresh capital will be used to support product innovation, team expansion, and entry into new core markets. This funding brings Runwise's total funding to $79 million. The company, which operates a smart operating system for buildings, is installed in over 10,000 buildings across the U.S., serving more than 1,000 customers.
Runwise's platform combines proprietary hardware, wireless connectivity, and cloud-based software to automate and optimize building operations. The company claims that its system can be installed rapidly, with a typical payback period of under five months, and has already saved customers over $100 million in energy costs.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
