Sabre says nearly 80 customers use or test its travel MCP server

Sabre says nearly 80 customers are using or testing its Model Context Protocol server, which connects AI agents with travel data and inventory.

Sabre Corporation said in a press release that nearly 80 customers are using or testing its Model Context Protocol server. The company launched the server in September 2025 to let AI agents book, sell and service travel through Sabre's data and inventory.

Customers include Virgin Australia, Flight Centre, Internova, Global Travel Collection, Nexion, ALTOUR and Travel Leaders Network. Sabre says travel agencies and management companies use the server to automate servicing tasks.

The MCP capabilities also support traveler apps inside ChatGPT and Claude. Sabre uses them across its air, hotel, agency and payments products running on Sabre Mosaic and supported by Sabre IQ.
