Saksoft Appoints Gurmeet Chahal as CEO

Gurmeet Chahal becomes Saksoft's first CEO from outside its promoter group as the company expands its AI services and operations in North America and Europe.

Saksoft appointed Gurmeet Chahal as chief executive officer effective October 12, 2026, the company said in a press release. Chahal is the first CEO from outside the promoter group during Saksoft's 25 years in business, while founder Aditya Krishna remains chairman of the board.

Chahal previously served as founding CEO and executive director of Digitide Solutions. He led its separation from Quess Corp and its listing on India's NSE and BSE in June 2025. His earlier roles included senior positions at Genpact, HCLTech and DXC Technology.

Saksoft said Chahal will oversee expansion in North America and Europe, acquisitions and the use of generative and agentic AI in its services. The appointment follows Saksoft surpassing ₹1,000 crore in annual revenue with an EBITDA margin of 18.6%.
