Salesforce Agrees to Acquire Loops for Tableau Analytics
Salesforce Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Israeli AI analytics startup Loops and plans to integrate its technology and team into Tableau. The price was not disclosed, but the deal is estimated at about $30 million, CTech by Calcalist reports.
Loops, founded in 2020 by CEO Tom Laufer and CTO Ido Adiv, connects to company data sources and uses machine learning models and causal analysis to explain what drives changes in metrics such as revenue, conversions and retention. Last year it added Scout, an AI agent that monitors key performance indicators, flags trends and anomalies, investigates their causes and sends summaries through Slack and email. Loops raised $14 million in a 2022 seed round led by Scale Venture Partners.
Salesforce expects the deal to close in early November, during its fiscal 2027, subject to customary closing conditions, Benzinga reports.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
