IDC named SAS a Leader in its 2026 assessment of decision intelligence platforms, citing the platform's architecture, governance and analytics capabilities.

SAS said in a press release that IDC named it a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Decision Intelligence Platforms 2026 Vendor Assessment.

SAS Intelligent Decisioning runs on SAS Viya and combines data, AI models, business rules and analytics in governed decision flows. It supports cloud, hybrid and on premises deployments.

IDC cited the platform's hybrid decision architecture, governance, explainability, entity resolution and graph analytics. Its features include data to decision lineage, versioned audit trails and model cards, as well as relationship analysis for fraud and financial crime cases.
