Satlyt raised an $8 million seed round led by Non Sibi Ventures, according to TechCrunch. The company develops software that lets satellites run AI models and distribute computing jobs across spacecraft from different operators.

Satlyt has tested its software on two missions. Earlier in 2026, it deployed Google DeepMind's Gemma model on a Momentus spacecraft, reducing the size of a transmission about software errors by more than 60%.

Its next mission will run on a spacecraft built by TakeMe2Space and support tests for NASA, Stellerian, and TakeMe2Space. Satlyt plans to test a shared computing system spanning two satellites in 2027.
