Second Front Systems and EdgeRunner AI Partner for Military AI Deployment
Second Front Systems and EdgeRunner AI have announced a strategic partnership to deploy military-grade AI agents to the tactical edge, announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to enhance real-time, on-device autonomy in communication-denied environments.
EdgeRunner AI will utilize Second Front's Frontier platform to rapidly deploy advanced AI solutions in remote settings. The partnership enables warfighters to operate decision-support models on frontline assets such as tanks, Humvees, and fighter jets without relying on cloud services. This approach meets strict Department of Defense cybersecurity standards and provides rapid insights on threats, terrain, and mission options.
The collaboration is designed to improve situational awareness and accelerate the deployment of these capabilities to the field. By delivering AI at the edge, Second Front and EdgeRunner AI aim to empower U.S. and allied forces with reliable and resilient insights necessary for mission success.
