SecureSky Acquires Soveren for Data Security Tools

SecureSky acquired Soveren, adding continuous sensitive data discovery, classification and protection to its security platform.

SecureSky acquired Soveren, the company announced in a press release. The deal adds continuous sensitive data discovery, classification and protection across cloud native and on premises environments to SecureSky's platform.

Soveren's technology uses eBPF network analysis and machine learning classification to track sensitive data flows, including encrypted TLS traffic. SecureSky reports that the classification system reaches 98% accuracy.

SecureSky plans to combine Soveren's data security posture management tools with its continuous threat exposure management and security control validation services. London based Soveren was founded in 2021 and has raised $10 million.
