Seeing Machines has announced a strategic partnership with Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA) to enhance the sales of its Guardian Generation 3 driver monitoring solution across the Americas. This collaboration was announced in a press release by Seeing Machines, a company specializing in AI-powered operator monitoring systems.
The agreement allows Seeing Machines to leverage MEAA's extensive aftermarket distribution network and customer base, aiming to penetrate the telematics and connected vehicle market in the region. MEAA, known for its expertise in the commercial vehicles segment, will facilitate business opportunities through its existing commercial relationships, covering over one million vehicles.
Seeing Machines plans to support MEAA's efforts with its US-based sales force, providing qualified leads to expedite the traditionally lengthy sales process associated with technical products like Guardian. This partnership is expected to significantly boost the adoption of Guardian Generation 3, enhancing driver safety by addressing risks related to distraction and drowsiness.
