Sensydia Raises More Than $6 Million for AI Cardiac System
Sensydia secured more than $6 million in an oversubscribed initial financing close, the company said in a press release. Colle Capital Partners led the financing, with support from Orlando Health Ventures.
Sensydia will use the funding to complete its ACOUSTIC-1 study of the Cardiac Performance System, pursue authorization from the US Food and Drug Administration, and prepare for a commercial launch. The investigational system has received FDA Breakthrough Device designation but is not yet authorized.
The system collects acoustic and electrical signals and uses AI algorithms to assess cardiac function. Sensydia designed it to provide pulmonary pressure assessments without invasive catheterization for patients with heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.
