Sharon AI Adds VAST DataEnclave to AI Factory

Sharon AI and VAST Data announced in a press release that VAST DataEnclave will be added to Sharon AI's AI Factory platform across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. The service will let customers run AI models on infrastructure they control, including onshore and fully air gapped systems.

DataEnclave uses secure container runtimes, confidential virtual machines, CPU level trusted execution environments and NVIDIA GPUs in Confidential Compute mode. The companies say customer data and model weights remain protected from infrastructure operators during processing, while customers and model providers retain control of their encryption keys.

Deployments can use connected attestation through a service based on CNCF Trustee or operate without network access through on premises attestation and key brokering from VAST Data and Fortanix. Attestation events, key releases and enclave lifecycle actions are stored in a queryable audit trail designed to prevent alteration.
