ShengShu Technology introduced Vidu S1 at the 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference, a video foundation model capable of continuous real time interaction with AI avatars using voice-guided controls.

At the 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference, ShengShu Technology unveiled Vidu S1, a video foundation model that enables continuous real time interactive generation announced in a press release. The model supports video conversations where users can guide AI avatars through voice input, allowing natural and ongoing interactions.

Vidu S1 delivers 540P resolution at 25 frames per second, with support for up to 42 frames per second, and can run on consumer grade GPUs. Users can create interactive characters from a single image, including real people or animated figures, and assign customizable voices. The model interprets voice input to control lips, facial expressions, gestures, and full body movements in real time.

The system uses an autoregressive diffusion architecture that generates video continuously based on conversation context and voice instructions. Optimization methods such as TurboDiffusion and low-bit SageAttention reduce computational costs and support high frame rate output. The model is also designed for applications like livestreaming, gaming, customer service, and XR experiences.

Vidu S1 is now publicly available, and an API platform allows developers and enterprises to integrate real time interactive video functions into their own products and services.
