Sidero Labs launches Talos tools for private AI infrastructure
Sidero Labs launches Talos Linux for AI and Talos Cupar for organizations running AI on private infrastructure, the company said in a press release. The products keep models, data and computing infrastructure within systems controlled by the organization.
Talos Linux for AI is an open source, immutable operating system that supports NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, model serving, inference, supervised fine tuning and retrieval augmented generation connections to private data. It uses declarative configuration to maintain infrastructure settings.
Talos Cupar provides one interface for selecting models and inference engines, allocating GPU capacity, configuring fine tuning and retrieval augmented generation pipelines, and delivering chat and agent applications. The platform is in limited availability, with general availability planned for March 2027.
