SiEngine Raises US$200 Million for Automotive AI Chips
SiEngine Technology secured US$200 million in new equity capital from institutional investors during the first half of 2026, ECARX Holdings, Inc. said in a press release.
SiEngine was cofounded in 2018 by ECARX and Arm China. ECARX remains the company's largest single shareholder, and the funding will support research and development, production capacity, globalization, and international customer growth.
The companies have built a computing platform around SiEngine's Longying series SoCs and ECARX's Antora central computing platforms. Antora systems using the 7nm Longying I chip have been deployed across vehicle models including Geely Galaxy, Lynk & Co, and FAW Hongqi.
SiEngine has also introduced the 5nm Longying II cabin driving fusion SoC. The chip includes native large language model functionality and higher AI compute performance for ECARX's Antora platforms and Flyme Auto OS.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
