Simbe Surpasses 3,000 Contracted Retail Robots

Simbe Robotics says it now has more than 3,000 autonomous units under contract across over 75 retail banners.

Simbe Robotics said in a press release that it has surpassed 3,000 autonomous units under contract. The company describes this as the largest commercially committed fleet of shelf intelligence systems identified by its research.

Its platform combines autonomous robots, computer vision, RFID, handheld tools and fixed sensors. It tracks inventory availability, product locations, prices, promotions and merchandising conditions in stores.

Simbe reports deployments across more than 75 retail banners in nearly a dozen countries. Its Tally robot has also received UL 3300 certification for operation in public spaces.
