Skye Africa Intelligence to Build SafariOS Hotel Concierge in Tanzania

Sep 19, 2026
A Tanzanian tourism business has commissioned Skye Africa Intelligence to develop SafariOS, a conversational AI concierge for hotel guests.

Skye Africa Intelligence will develop SafariOS, a conversational AI hospitality concierge commissioned by a Tanzanian tourism business, the company said in a press release. Brand Engagement Network, a shareholder in Skye, is providing the underlying technology.

The first release will help hotel guests access property information, submit housekeeping and room service requests, and find dining and transport guidance. It will also transfer requests to a person when needed.

Development and testing will take place in a live hospitality environment in Tanzania. The service may later add restaurants, excursions, safari operators, and onward travel as more businesses participate.

Brand Engagement Network holds a minority interest in Skye through Skye AI USA. Valio Technologies holds a majority interest in Skye.
