SmartSens Unveils Automotive Vision Portfolio at AutoSens USA 2026
SmartSens announced in a press release the debut of its automotive vision portfolio at AutoSens USA 2026. The company demonstrated solutions for advanced driver assistance, surround view, in-cabin sensing, and driver monitoring, along with a preview of Flyingchip's upcoming M2 automotive image signal processor.
SmartSens presented its first live demonstration of a front-view vision system combining the 8.3MP SC860AT CMOS image sensor with the Flyingchip M1 processing chip. The system is designed to enhance environmental perception and object detection for improved driver assistance performance.
For 360-degree surround view applications, SmartSens showcased a system powered by its 3MP SC360AT sensor, offering more accurate visualization of vehicle surroundings. The company also introduced an in-cabin sensing platform built on the 5MP SC533AT sensor and M1 chip, capable of detecting occupant position, facial expressions, and movement while monitoring for unattended passengers or objects.
Additionally, SmartSens unveiled a driver monitoring system that uses a 2.3MP global shutter Sensor+ISP SC233AT to track driver attention in real time. During the event, SmartSens USA General Manager Wang Xiaoyong delivered a keynote outlining the company's advancements in automotive sensing and confirmed that Flyingchip will soon release the M2 chip, which aims to support large-scale deployment of automated driving systems.
