Socure and NextgenID Link Digital Fraud Checks to IAL3 Identity Proofing

Socure and NextgenID are combining digital fraud intelligence with supervised identity proofing certified at NIST Identity Assurance Level 3.

Socure and NextgenID announced in a press release a partnership that connects digital fraud checks with supervised identity proofing. Socure will provide identity resolution and fraud intelligence for NextgenID's PresenceID sessions, while NextgenID will give Socure customers a certified path to NIST Identity Assurance Level 3.

Organizations can route applicants from Socure's RiskOS platform to in person proofing through the PresenceID Network. The service is available without appointments at Post Offices and government and enterprise host sites across the United States. It also covers credential issuance and identity binding.

Before each supervised session, NextgenID customers will receive resolved identity attributes, synthetic identity indicators, prior fraud associations, and device and behavioral signals from Socure. The companies introduced the joint service at Identity Week America 2026.
