SoftBank Group Corp. is considering acquiring Allied Universal, the largest security services company in the US, in a transaction worth nearly $30 billion including debt, Bloomberg reported, according to Investing.com. Discussions are preliminary, and no decision has been made on a deal or its price.

Allied Universal could be valued at up to $18 billion in equity and has about $12 billion in publicly traded debt. The company provides security personnel and other services for businesses, events and infrastructure, including New York City's subway system.
