Solidion Technology Granted Seven New Patents for Composite Anode Materials
Solidion Technology Inc. announced in a press release that it has been granted seven new U.S. patents for composite anode materials used in lithium batteries. This brings the company’s total U.S. patent count for anode materials to 130.
The new patents cover silicon anode technologies designed to extend operating time for humanoid robots, increase the range of drones, and deliver longer uptime for AI data centers on Earth and in space. The innovations also target cost reduction and higher energy density for electric vehicle batteries.
Solidion’s approach combines three strategies: porous graphene structures that can hold up to 90% silicon, a silane-free production process that reduces cost and improves safety, and the use of domestically sourced materials to avoid supply chain disruptions.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with pilot production in Dayton, Ohio, Solidion focuses on advanced battery materials and components for energy storage, electric vehicles, and aerospace applications.
