Solidion Technology Unveils High-Performance Pouch Battery for Drones
Solidion Technology Inc. has showcased a prototype 9.5Ah pouch battery cell designed for use in industrial and military drones, announced in a press release. The company reports that the cell retains about 95% of its capacity at a 10c discharge rate, compared to the 78% capacity retention typical of most pouch cells at 5c.
The new pouch cell is being developed to deliver high power stability for drone and unmanned aerial vehicle applications. Solidion plans to make the product available for commercial use in the second quarter of 2026.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with pilot production facilities in Dayton, Ohio, Solidion focuses on battery materials and next-generation energy storage systems. Its portfolio includes over 525 patents covering technologies such as graphene-enabled silicon anodes, biomass-based graphite, and lithium-sulfur and lithium-metal batteries.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
