Somatus Manages Over 500,000 Patients Nationwide
Somatus has announced in a press release that it now manages over 500,000 patients across all 50 states and DC. The company, known for its value-based, specialist-led primary care management, has expanded its capabilities to include congestive heart failure care management, commercial self-insured populations, and AI-driven disease identification and payment integrity services.
Somatus has achieved significant growth through existing customer expansions, new client launches, and enhanced capabilities. The company manages over $14 billion in healthcare costs and maintains a 100% customer and provider partner retention rate for 2024 and 2025. This growth reflects the increasing demand for Somatus' integrated care model, which supports patients with kidney disease, congestive heart failure, and other complex conditions.
The company has also reported impressive clinical outcomes, including a 28% improvement in blood pressure control rates and a 48% higher home dialysis start rate compared to national benchmarks. Somatus continues to advance its clinical and technological capabilities, focusing on early-stage disease identification through AI and predictive analytics, and contracting with over 100 nephrology practices and 5,500 providers nationwide.
