SOPHiA GENETICS and Element Biosciences Integrate AI and Sequencing Platforms for Precision Medicine Research
SOPHiA GENETICS and Element Biosciences announced a new partnership at the Association for Molecular Pathology Annual Meeting, according to a press release. The collaboration integrates SOPHiA GENETICS' AI-powered analytics platform, SOPHiA DDM, with Element's AVITI and AVITI24 sequencing systems to improve genomic workflows for precision medicine research.
The integration will allow researchers to process next-generation sequencing (NGS) data within a single workflow, combining Element's sequencing capabilities with SOPHiA GENETICS' analytical tools. Users of the AVITI and AVITI24 systems will gain access to SOPHiA DDM applications in oncology and rare disease analysis.
The partnership aims to provide laboratories with faster, more scalable, and flexible tools for genomic research. Both companies stated that the combined technology will support the global adoption of AI-driven precision medicine by simplifying access to advanced sequencing and data analysis capabilities.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
