STEMup and Connexis Partner to Advance Fractional Leadership in STEM and Life Sciences
STEMup Science and Technology Institute and Connexis Search Group have announced a national partnership to strengthen workforce readiness and leadership development in the life sciences and technology sectors, according to a press release.
The collaboration integrates Connexis’s executive recruitment and fractional leadership expertise into STEMup’s education-to-enterprise programs. It will pilot fractional executive placements in biotechnology and technology companies while expanding STEMup’s Pittsburgh Innovators Apprenticeship Program, which combines apprenticeship, mentorship, and leadership training.
The partnership aims to connect emerging STEM leaders and executives with flexible career and advisory roles in high-growth ventures. It also incorporates Connexis’s recruiting network into STEMup’s frameworks for education and venture creation, supporting startups and scale-ups in fields such as AI, quantum computing, health tech, and advanced manufacturing.
