StrongestLayer Launches with $5.2M to Tackle AI-Powered Email Threats
StrongestLayer has emerged from stealth with $5.2 million in seed funding to combat AI-powered email threats, announced in a press release. The funding round was led by Sorenson Capital, with participation from Recall Capital.
The company has developed an LLM-native cybersecurity platform designed to address the surge in phishing breaches, which have increased by 90% as AI tools become more accessible to cybercriminals. Unlike traditional email security solutions that rely on pattern-matching, StrongestLayer's platform uses advanced reasoning and intent analysis to detect malicious communications, regardless of their wording or weaponization.
StrongestLayer's platform, known as TRACE (Threat Reasoning AI Correlation Engine), orchestrates multiple AI engines to provide expert-level threat analysis. This approach allows the detection of AI-generated attacks that can bypass traditional security measures. The platform also includes predictive campaign detection, which has identified and convicted 3.9 million fake company websites in the past year.
Founded by cybersecurity experts Muhammad Rizwan, Joshua Bass, and Alan LeFort, StrongestLayer aims to protect organizations against both traditional and AI-powered email attacks. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and is backed by leading cybersecurity industry veterans.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
