Subsalt Releases Secure Runtime for Health Data Analysis

Subsalt announced in a press release the general availability of Secure Runtime, a computing environment that lets authorized health system users analyze protected health information without exposing patient level data. Users can run Python analyses, calculate metrics, test hypotheses, and create visualizations.

Health organizations control data access, permitted uses, and which outputs can leave the environment. Datavant evaluated the product under the HIPAA Expert Determination standard, including its aggregate outputs and automated privacy tests, and certified Subsalt's de identification technology across Secure Runtime and its digital twin platform.

Subsalt also released Subsalt MCP, which connects AI chat tools to custom de identified datasets under existing access and governance controls. Both products are available to new and existing customers.
