SuperX Digital Power Launches 800VDC Systems for AI Data Centers

Nov 10, 2025
SuperX Digital Power, a joint venture between SuperX AI Technology Limited and Zhonhen Electric, has introduced two 800VDC power systems — Panama and Aurora — designed to enhance efficiency and scalability in AI data centers.

SuperX AI Technology Limited and Zhonhen Electric's joint venture, SuperX Digital Power, has launched two 800V Direct Current (800VDC) power products for AI data centers, announced in a press release. The new systems — SuperX Panama-800VDC and SuperX Aurora-800VDC — are designed to improve power efficiency and scalability in both new and existing data center environments.

The SuperX Panama-800VDC solution provides an end-to-end DC power architecture for new hyperscale data centers, integrating components such as medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, and rectifier cabinets. It supports up to 1 MW per rack and offers up to 98.5% efficiency. The SuperX Aurora-800VDC retrofit system enables upgrades for operating data centers without major reconstruction, allowing single-rack upgrades to be completed within hours.

Both systems adopt a direct DC-to-chip power model that reduces energy conversion stages, achieving higher efficiency and lower copper usage. The Panama system can deliver up to 3.6 MW per rack by simplifying power paths and eliminating redundant units. Both solutions are compatible with NVIDIA Kyber rack architecture and are intended to support next-generation AI and GPU-driven workloads.
