SWIRL has introduced the SWIRL AI Warehouse (SWIRL AIW), a platform designed to deliver real-time analytics without the need for ETL, data migrations, or vendor lock-in, announced in a press release. This innovative solution virtualizes existing data from sources like Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, and IBM DB2, unifying them into a single analytics and AI layer.

The SWIRL AI Warehouse allows enterprises to perform federated SQL queries directly on live systems, eliminating the need to move or transform data into a centralized cloud. This approach offers real-time operational data, strengthens compliance by inheriting existing permissions, and reduces infrastructure costs. The platform is available for deployment on-premises, in private clouds, or at the edge, ensuring data remains secure and governed.

SWIRL AI Warehouse is now available, and interested parties can request a demo through their website.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
