Talogy Survey Finds 78% Concerned AI Could Weaken Leadership Pipelines
Talogy said in a press release that 78% of surveyed HR and talent leaders are concerned AI could cause a long term loss of critical leadership skills. The company surveyed 207 senior HR leaders, talent acquisition managers, and learning and development experts.
The concern centers on AI taking over tasks traditionally assigned to entry level employees. These tasks can provide early opportunities to build judgment, communication, and other leadership skills.
Talogy recommends developing four capabilities summarized as RISE: Responsiveness, Insight, Sustainability, and Effectiveness. Its guide also recommends using values, emotional intelligence, psychometric assessments, and behavioral assessments to identify leadership potential and direct employee development throughout a career.
