Teradar Completes $1.9M U.S. Army Contract for Terahertz Threat Detection
Teradar has completed a $1,899,778 SBIR Phase II contract with the U.S. Army to develop and demonstrate terahertz sensing technology for battlefield threat detection, announced in a press release.
Under the contract, Teradar tested its high-resolution terahertz vision system designed to enhance situational awareness in low-visibility and degraded visual conditions. The technology combines the penetration capabilities of radio frequency with the resolution of optical systems, enabling detection of vehicles, obstacles, and hazards in environments such as dust, smoke, and fog.
In collaboration with Lockheed Martin, Teradar evaluated how its terahertz vision system could be integrated into next-generation defense platforms and operational concepts. The completion of this program marks a milestone in Teradar's defense initiatives and supports future demonstrations with U.S. and allied partners.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
